Backing up your Company Files

 

IT IS ADVISABLE TO TAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR COMPANY FILES ON A REGULAR BASIS, TO AN EXTERNAL DRIVE.
 
THE BACK UP IS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE IN CASE ANY DAMAGE OCCURS TO YOUR COMPUTER OR TO RESTORE THE COMPANY TO A PREVIOUS POSITION PRIOR TO THE ENTRY OF SUBSEQUENT TRANSACTIONS.
 
 
 

FILE > BACKUP COMPANY 

 

  • Select your preferred destination - The file name of your backup is automatically assigned, i.e. your company name.zip. 
  • Click Backup to perform the backup procedure
  • Successful Backup - a confirmation message will appear to confirm the backup was successful 
 
 
PLEASE NOTE: SHOULD YOU RECEIVE ANY ERROR MESSAGE DURING THE BACK UP PROCEDURE, THEN THE BACKUP HAS NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL AND THE ABOVE STEPS SHOULD BE REPEATED AGAIN.
